Geologic Assessments
Zara Environmental performs Geologic Assessments that are required by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality for certain activities in the Edwards Aquifer Recharge Zone. A Geologic Assessment serves to identify potential aquifer recharge features and may also be used to locate potential karst species habitat. A karst feature survey is conducted where a team of 4 or 5 persons conduct a sweep across terrain, spaced no more than 15 meters apart.
